("BeyondH1B," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI‑assisted tools that help immigration law firms and individual users evaluate visa eligibility, organize evidence, and prepare case materials. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information responsibly. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and the choices and rights you have.

Controller vs. Processor: When a law firm uses BeyondH1B for client matters, the firm typically acts as the data controller and BeyondH1B acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Addendum. For self‑service individual accounts, BeyondH1B is the controller for account and product usage data.

1) Information We Collect

  • Account & Contact Data: Name, email address, firm/organization, role, billing contact, authentication identifiers.
  • Case & Profile Data: Biographical details, education, employment history; CV/resume; publications; awards; recommendation letters; contracts; pay statements; immigration history; evidence uploads.
  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, browser/device type, timestamps, product interaction events.
  • Support & Feedback: Messages, attachments, and survey responses.
  • Third‑Party Sources: Data from integrated services under user authorization.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and secure the services.
  • Generate analytical outputs like Visa Readiness Score, Evidence Quality Score, and Extraordinary Potential Score.
  • Create case packets, summaries, and exports for review.
  • Improve product features and model quality.
  • Communicate updates, legal notices, and support.

We do not sell personal information.

3) Data Storage & Retention

  • Hosting: With reputable cloud providers.
  • Retention: For as long as necessary for services or legal requirements.
  • Deletion: Upon request, except where law requires limited retention.

4) AI/LLM Usage

  • Minimal prompts for outputs.
  • No use of prompts/completions for model training.
  • Provider logs disabled; pseudonymization used.
  • No sharing for research or marketing.

5) Analytics & Cookies

We use privacy‑forward analytics for performance insights. Browsers may control cookies; disabling them may affect features.

6) De‑Identification & Aggregation

De‑identified or aggregated insights improve accuracy without re‑identification.

7) Legal Basis and Roles (GDPR/UK GDPR)

  • Law firm: BeyondH1B acts as processor; firm is controller.
  • Individual: BeyondH1B is controller.
  • Bases: Contract, legitimate interest, consent, compliance.

8) Your Rights

9) Security

We use encryption, access control, and audit logs. Users should enable multi‑factor authentication.

10) Children’s Privacy

Not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 as applicable).
